Orlando Team Building Game Plan:

Our Culinary Team Building Sessions Have Worked For These Successful Companies:

Our guests are broken down into cooking teams and then provided with a keep sake apron. Each group will  begin  using their imaginations by creating their own team name and individual nick name that best represents themselves on each of their aprons.  Each team member will then receive a copy of the event menu, all the recipes needed to complete their task and a tour of their surroundings.

Setting the ground rules

Teams will be broken into groups that will elect one leader for each group; each team will

have approximately 1.5 hours to complete their tasks (depending upon the menu selected and

amount of teams). Once the tasks have been completed, each team will give an oral

presentation of their food. Their finished products will be judged by their peers as well as

CHeF Andy with a prize awarded at the end. Total Team Building Time runs approximately 3

to 4 hours.  Minimum class size is sixteen guests.

Location of Instruction: Gracious Living Design Center~ 10 64 West Highway 50, Clermont, Florida 34711

Travel Times: Approximately 30 minutes from The Walt Disney World and 45 minutes from Universal Studios and Sea World areas. 50 minutes from downtown Orlando.

How Does An Executive Chef Receive Notoriety and Celebrity Status?

Answer: Build A Great Team!

10 tips To Culinary Team Building

It begins with the organization outlining a path and program towards success.

An executive chef, as a head coach, implements his or her system into the program.

The chef begins by recruiting and developing a successful team of chefs/assistants.

The chef lays the foundation/game plan/menu to achieve success.

A strong culinary team creates standardization which will in turn, cultivate guest satisfaction.

It's the chef's responsibility to coach, teach and lead the players to success so when there is a vacancy, you can promote from within.

The chef sets goals and implements procedures to assure success.

The chef promotes that the team is stronger than one individual or group of individuals.

The chef develops and builds relationships with other departments to create an overall customer experience.

What makes a great restaurant? The front of the house/department and the back of the house/department working together as one.
