A.J. Pierzynski ~Chicago White Sox Catcher

I have the opportunity to create meals on a weekly basis for A.J. and Lisa Pierzynski. They have been my personal chef clients for the last couple of years. A.J. works hard in the off season to maintain his weight and get ready for the upcoming season. He accomplishes this by having a consistent workout routine and healthy meal plan.

A.J. Pierzynski was drafted by the Minnesota Twins on June 2, 1994, out of high school. After four years in the Twins organization, he was called up to the Major League team, and made his debut on September 9, 1998. He spent the next five seasons, through the 2003 season, with Minnesota, though he was not a regular starter until 2001. From 1998-2000, he appeared in just 49 games for the Twins. In 2002 he made the American League All-Star Team as a reserve catcher. In the 2002 American League Division Series, A.J. Pierzynski hit an important home run in the ninth inning of the final game, in which the Twins clinched the series. In 2003, Pierzynski reached a .312 batting average, a career high that still stands

After the 2003 season, the Twins traded Pierzynski to the San Francisco Giants for Joe Nathan, Francisco Liriano ad Boof Bonser. He spent one season in San Francisco before being signed as a free Agent by the Chicago White Sox on January 6, 2005.

In 2006, Pierzynski was named one of the five American League players in the All –Star Final Vote. Soon afterwards the Chicago White Sox organization began an election campaign using the slogan "Punch A.J." Pierzynski received 3.6 million votes, the most votes in the American League, subsequently sending him to his second All-Star appearance.

Pierzynski holds the AL record for consecutive errorless chances with 962, breaking Yogi Berra's previous record of 950, set in 1959

Gale and John Hillenmeyer ~Surprise Birthday Party

An approachable team builder and a brilliant strategist, is how people often describe John Hillenmeyer, Orlando Health’s President and CEO of the fifth-largest employer in Central Florida. The hospital system's separate hospitals and specialty-care centers include Orlando Regional Medical Center, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando, Orlando Regional Lucerne Hospital, Orlando Regional South Seminole Hospital, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, and South Lake Hospital. His team building and strategy came into play  when he had to coordinate a surprise birthday celebration for his lovely wife Gale.
~Chef Andy, Thank you so very much for providing the most wonderful 60th birthday dinner anyone could ever ask for! The food was absolutely stupendous and the presentation beyond compare!! Thanks Gale

Mary and Dick Nunis

When Dick Nunis joined Disneyland in 1955, the Park employed 600 cast members. By the time he retired from his summer job - 44 years later - Disneyland boasted 13,000 cast members and Walt Disney World employed another 50,000. During those early years, Dick learned, first hand, Walt Disney's theme park philosophy. And as he guided the growth of Disney's outdoor attractions from a single park into a worldwide resort, the premiere theme park executive always kept his focus on the people.
"Walt believed strongly that what would make Disneyland different was the people - he wanted them to feel that they were part of the organization," Dick recalled. "That's why he established the first-name policy - he was Walt, I was Dick, and so on. From an overall operations point of view, the most important thing is to work together to make sure that when guests come, they have a wonderful experience."
I’ve been privileged to have shared my philosophy of Food, Flavors, Life and Passion with the Nunis Family. I’m honored that they have selected our services for their holiday dinners for the past seven years and allowing us to step into their very private lives and treating Cindy and I as family. A warm and gratuitous Thank You to Mary and Dick from CHeF Andy and Cindy.
